Cyclonic storms can cause havoc in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. According to the Meteorological Department, cyclonic storm Jawad (JAWAD) can hit the coast of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha by Saturday morning.

Due to the low-pressure building in the Bay of Bengal, the shadow of a cyclonic storm has started falling over Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. In fact, a cyclonic formation is developing in the Bay of Bengal, which is likely to reach the Andhra Pradesh-Odisha coast by Saturday, December 4. Shortly after this, it will take the form of cyclonic storm 'Jawad' (JAWAD). An alert has been sounded for fishermen living near the beaches and they have been asked to return to a safer place.
Due to the disturbance in the Bay of Bengal, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of continuous heavy rain in these states for four days from today. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of heavy rain in Mumbai.
The storm will hit the coasts of Andhra and Odisha by Saturday
Giving information, the Meteorological Department said that a low-pressure area remained in Thailand and its surrounding areas at 8.30 am on Wednesday. This pressure area is likely to reach the Andaman Sea in the next 12 hours. After this, moving west-northwestwards, it can reach the southeast and central part of the nearby Bay of Bengal by December 2.
After this, it is likely to hit the north Andhra Pradesh-Odisha coast on Saturday morning, December 4. At the same time, due to this low pressure, heavy to very heavy and very heavy rains are expected in the coastal areas of Odisha.
It may rain in Maharashtra and Gujarat today
There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains over the Gujarat region, North Madhya Maharashtra, and North Konkan on December 1. On the other hand, on December 2, there may be heavy rain at isolated places in the Gujarat region and North Madhya Maharashtra.
